Method 1 - Using Virtual Router Plus
Virtual Router plus is a free open source application that can be used to convert any windows 7 or Windows 8 running PC or laptop into WiFi hotspot using Wireless hosted network technology.Using Virtual router plus you can create virtual WiFi hotspot from any internet connection i.e LAN, Cable Modem, Dial-up, Cellular etc which can be easily shared with any WiFi Device i.e laptop,smartphones,iphone,tablet etc One of the great feature of using Virtual WiFi hotspot is that devices are connected to this WiFi similar to any other access point and ensuring secured connection using WPA2 Encryption.
How to Setup WiFi Hotspot using Virtual router plus :-
- Simply Download Virtual Router Plus from here.
- Extract it using Winrar or winzip and launch it.
- Next Install it on your pc by following the instructions.
- Create a new network by specifying a Network Name.

Note - You can also setup a password by filling the password space.
- Select the Connection that you want to share as WiFi.
- Click on Start Virtual Router Plus and That’s all you are all done.
Method 2 - Using WiFi HotSpot Creator
This is another WiFi Hotspot creator application similar to Virtual router plus which is very simple and easy to use with a very clean and decent user interface.WiFi Hotspot creator is a free and lightweight application that provides instant results in one click.Just like you have setup Virtual Router Plus above you can setup WiFi Hotspot creator by providing a Network name,password,selecting the internet connection you want to share.It also allows you to limit the maximum number of users which can access the WiFi.
